Is Joe Rogan's recent backlash justified, or are people just looking for reasons to hate?

A sold-out Madison Square Garden witnessed the entire crowd on their feet when Tony Hinchcliffe introduced some amazing guests for the latest edition of the ‘Kill Tony’ podcast. Big Jay Oakerson, Hans Kim, and Ron White were just some prominent names who were a part of the marquee show. But the one that stood out from the rest was Joe Rogan.

Just the name of the UFC commentator and podcaster was enough to make the crowd erupt into applause as Rogan made his appearance. The moment was good enough to make any naysayer believe in the popularity of the host of the JRE. However, when we earlier said Rogan stood out, we actually meant that. Why? Well, that’s because his choice of outfit truly made him the b*tt of several jokes in the comments.

Rogan appeared on the KillTony podcast, wearing a flamboyant furry green jacket that was surely designed to get mixed opinions. While some would consider it a rather funky choice of an outfit, to some, it would appear as if Ric Flair just got hunkier and balder. So it was no wonder that fans soon took to the comments to let their thoughts known.

Some users believed Rogan looked like an avocado or guacamole. As they wrote, “Avacajoe Rogan,”  “Joe Avacado,” and “Surely Joey Guacamole would have been a better title.” Many users felt like Rogan looked a lot like the American actor and filmmaker Danny DeVito. As some users commented, “Looking like Danny Devito 😂”, “Danny Devito playing Elton John,”, and “Danny DeVito?” From making everyone laugh through his Netflix special a few days ago, Rogan definitely wouldn’t have expected such a vehement reaction.

For the unaware, the Kill Tony podcast is a show that features amateur and professional comedians doing one-minute sets. As a result, several come out wearing such hilarious outfits and costumes. So maybe, just maybe, it was an intentional fashion debacle by the host of the Joe Rogan Experience. However, not all users were fixated on Rogan, as many had some words to share about the episode as well.

The fans put out their verdict of the show

Many fans believed that the episode was truly great and might shatter records on platforms like YouTube.
