The Korean Zombie broke his silence and issued a message to UFC star Max Holloway after the latter expressed his desire to face the “OG” in the promotion.
The South Korean fighter, who is on a layoff since his loss against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 273, resonated with the same emotions and is rearing to go on the prospect of a fight against ‘Blessed’. The Hawaiian fighter, who turned in another skillful performance against Arnold Allen and halted his juggernaut at UFC Kansas City, is now short on opponents. After cleaning up the division, the American fighter assumed gatekeeping duties of sorts in the division. While a move up to lightweight is long muted, he is yet to face a couple of veterans in the promotion.
Holloway rued his chances of not facing Chan Sung Jung earlier, and the reason evades his mind. However, his callout only put the wheels in motion for a potential fight but also set The Korean Zombie’s “OG mind on fire”.

Hence, he disclosed, “That is the only guy in my time with the older guys that I didn’t get to fight. I would love that fight. And if Korean Zombie wants it, he can get it. I would love to fight him.”
“He’s one of the OGs that I didn’t get to fight yet. We came up in the same era and we didn’t fight each other, so if that’s it, that’s it,” he added later on.
