Khamzat Chimaev, the undefeated MMA fighter widely known as ‘Borz,’ has been eagerly waiting to step back into the octagon. However, the frustration of not finding a suitable opponent has been bothering him for some time now. But the UFC president, Dana White, has stepped in to eliminate this roadblock for Chimaev. White has announced that he wants the dominant Swedish fighter to compete in the middleweight division and face off against the top guys in the division. This decision automatically brings the reigning middleweight champion, Alex Pereira, into the conversation, whom Chimaev has previously called out.
With the possibility of a Chimaev-Pereira fight on the horizon, the 28-year-old Swede was asked in a recent interview about his thoughts on fighting Poatan. Chimaev’s response oozed confidence beyond measure, and he seemed to see no challenge whatsoever in facing Poatan.
