It looks like Darren Till and Bo Nickal are going at each other’s necks right now. Even though Nickal is busy calling out Sharaputdin Magomedov, Till just chimed in to give the middleweight a reality check. The undefeated 7-0 fighter just won against Paul Craig at UFC 309, but ‘The Gorilla’ still busted out some insults for the winner.

Widely considered as a future champ in the middleweight division, the ATT member is considered the potential opponent for Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov. Meanwhile, Bo Nickal won against Craig and so confidently boasted about defeating ‘Bullet’ within 90 seconds. “I would fight Shara Magomedov but it’s not a tough fight. 90 seconds,” Bo Nickal claimed in a clip on his YouTube channel. However, Darren Till decided to give the 28-year-old a reality check. “Yeh… sit back Bo ur not the guy you think you are,” Till wrote on X.

Now the thing is, Till’s lashing out against Nickal is not out of the blue because the duo traded barbs back in 2022. Darren Till challenged Bo Nickal to a fight. Nickal laughed off his callout, criticizing him for getting out grappled by Derek Brunson.

The 18-5 fighter is no longer on the UFC roster but he let Nickal know his judgement of the latter’s performance. He said on X, “The ginger ninja doesn’t even fight. Talks more than me and I talk a lot. #GingerNinja He even sh*t talks me and hasn’t beaten an opponent whose record is a winning one. Proper ginger ninja. Yes, his wrestling is good but his striking is appalling and his cooking videos make me want to stab myself to death. Proper ginger ninja.”

Bo Nickal had also not backed down because previously he had taken digs at Khamzat Chimaev who is good friends with Darren Till. Nickal called Chimaev’s wrestling ‘trash’ and Till quickly came to defend his friend and training partner.

Now the scuffle has reached this point with ‘Bullet’ in the middle. Sharaputdin Magomedov has found himself sitting atop the ladder, higher than rising star Nickal who is not even in the top 15, despite having an undefeated winning streak. This is a bit shocking and Chael Sonnen, for one, did not overlook this.

Bo Nickal has twice the number of fights and wins than Sharaputdin Magomedov in the UFC even though both made their promotional debuts in 2023. Both fighters also won their bouts at UFC 309 and UFC 308 respectively, yet Magomedov appears at 14 and Nickal is nowhere in the ranks.

Chael Sonnen went berserk on this and raised a question about the promotion. In a video uploaded to his Instagram page, Sonnen asked Daniel Cormier, “Who in our rankings committee did not give the undefeated Bo Nickal who’s only left the distance one time”.

‘The Bad Guy’ was shocked with the rankings and said, “Only left the first round one time until the last fight. Who didn’t give him a ranking but put Shara Bullet as number 13? Just because he’s got a crazy eye? That’s a little hard to believe right there. Shara Bullet is ranked and Bo Nickal isn’t in the same weight class wow. Tell me how you got to that one guys.”
