The pirate ship appears to have been wrecked in the Arabian Sea, as Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s cannon attack proved too much for Shara Magomedov to handle. Despite being listed as a +150 underdog against Magomedov’s -175 favorite status, Page showcased why the British fighter should never be underestimated. After sinking Magomedov’s ship at UFC Saudi Arabia, Page announced “I’m the captain now,” and this appears to have intrigued Khamzat Chimaev.
Michael Page had complete control of the fight as his karate appeared to have dethroned Magomedov’s Muay Thai. Page opens with his trademark karate stance as he exchanges lightning-fast leg kicks with the Dagestani fighter at UFC Saudi Arabia. The crowd as well as Magomedov was equally shocked when ‘Venom’ dropped him multiple times in the initial round through his jabs.
As he emerged victorious, Khamzat Chimeav, who witnessed the clash from a restaurant took to his X handle to upload a photo of the fight and captioned it as, “Congrats captain @Michaelpage247.” Well, despite the amazing victory, Michael ‘Venom’ Page didn’t shy away from giving credit to Shara Magomedov, “I wanted to mix it up. Shara Bullet [Magomedov] is an amazing MMA fighter, regardless of this result he is going to go on and do some amazing things.”

Interestingly, ahead of the clash, Conor McGregor’s former coach, Dillon Danis, emphasized that despite the entire MMA community hyping up Shara Magomedov, he will ultimately succumb to someone more seasoned, “Calling it now Shara Magomedov is getting fraud checked,” Well, ‘The Pirate’ did go toe-to-toe against ‘The Venom’ but he fell short when it came to push the pace.
