Khamzat Chimaev Gets a Massive Upgrade as Undefeated Star Gets Added to UFC Fighter’s Camp for Paulo Costa Fight at UFC 294

Khamzat Chimaev will finally be back in the UFC octagon. Presently, Chimaev is gearing up to fight against Paulo Costa at UFC 294. Recently, Culture MMA reported that Baissangour Chamsoudinov will join ‘Borz’ in Dubai. The intention behind his joining Chimaev is to help the Swedish fighter defeat Costa. ‘Baki’ is a French fighter who boasts an undefeated record of seven victories and zero losses. Surprisingly, he is just 22 years old but has achieved some great victories in MMA. His last bout was under Ares FC 16 against Efrain Escudero and won the bout via TKO in the second round.

Ever since the bout was made official, ‘Borz’ has been continuously training hard. Last month, he captured the attention of netizens by sharing a video. The clip showed Chimaev honing his striking skills on a punching bag, demonstrating his speed and strength. The 29-year-old has also mentioned that his aim is to destroy Costa and that he is ready to go to any extent to achieve that.

 ‘Borz’ has great future plans for his fighting career

Khamzat Chimaev talked to the media while he came to watch UFC Fight Night 224. During that time, he was asked about his intentions for Costa. Chimaev revealed that he is determined to destroy Costa and make him cry inside the octagon. Talking further, ‘Borz’ also mentioned that he is grateful to get an opportunity in UFC 294. The Swede later declared his willingness to compete against anyone in both the welterweight and middleweight. Nonetheless, he claims that certain competitors opt out of facing him because they believe Chimaev is an unbeatable opponent.

While talking to the media, the undefeated fighter also revealed his future plans. He wanted to achieve belts in three different weight classes. Chimaev believes that if the promotion gives him enough time and money, he will easily make weight to fight any strong opponent. Currently, ‘Borz’ also has an eye on the UFC middleweight belt.
