Khamzat Chimaev Demands Dana White to Hand a UFC Contract to Undefeated Prospect as Sean O’Malley and Alexandre Pantoja’s Divisions Put on Alert

Aboubakar Yousonov, the undefeated bantamweight contender from Ares FC, has requested Dana White to sign him into the UFC. In his crusade to enter the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the fighter has gained support from tonnes of professionals, including names like Khamzat Chimaev. 

But this wasn’t the first time the Chechen Wolf was seen supporting the French mixed martial artist. Previously, during the events of Ares FC 17, when Yousonov secured a phenomenal win with a round two knockout, Chimaev smashed his hands together in applause of the scene he just witnessed. Without a doubt, the Swedish fighter believed that the young prospect would be a great fit in the UFC.

Recently, Yousonov took to Instagram and shared a picture of him donning a championship belt from Ares FC. He quoted, “I’m gonna smesh everybody! 57kg or 61kg, give me the contract Dana!” Thereafter, he tagged the UFC CEO, Sean Shelby, and the fighter from Dana White’s team, Mick Maynard, in the caption. The 24-year-old has targeted Sean O’Malley and Alexandre Pantoja’s divisions. 

Soon after the Frenchman shared the post, Chimaev rushed to the comments section and dropped a couple of emojis. One was a gold medal and the other depicted an iron bicep flexing. But the story doesn’t end here! The Chechnyan mixed martial artist also shared the post on his IG Story. It was as if Chimaev was screaming for White to consider Yousonov. 

Yousonov currently boasts a four-fight winning streak in the world of mixed martial arts. He has been undefeated from his time as an amateur fighter. Out of the four victories, the fighter has won three by finishes. He won his first fight as a professional against Ahmad Hamido via decision. The second win came via a rear naked choke and the third by an armbar. But it was the fourth victory that garnered attention from the entire fighting community.

Yousonov had ‘Borz’ backing him up at Ares FC

This was indeed not the first time Chimaev showed his support for Yousonov. Back in November 2023, the ‘Chechen Wolf’ personally went to see ‘Diky’ fight Mousapha Aida, at Ares FC 17. Without a doubt, the UFC fighter was impressed with the Frenchman’s fighting prowess. As he defeated Aida with a spinning back elbow in the second round, Chimaev couldn’t stop himself from striking his hands in claps.

Nevertheless, with Chimaev’s support, and his impressive record, things might move smoothly for Yousonov. But when would he get to fight in the Octagon is something that only time can tell.
