When the topic of trash-talking comes up, no one can miss the greatest trash talker of all time; Chael Sonnen. Before Conor McGregor came into the UFC scene, Sonnen was smoking his opponents with his words. Chael impressively uses his witty and funny comments, to take shots at his opponents.
Undoubtedly, the former UFC middleweight fighter’s trash talking game is on a different level. Quiet recently, Sonnen gave his two cents on an upcoming UFC prospect’s trash-talking skill. The fighter is none other than Khamzat Chimaev.
Khamzat is currently on a staggering 10 win streak spanning his entire pro-MMA career. During an interview with Submission Radio, Sonnen talked about Chimaev’s verbal skills. He stated, ” Khamzat can get away with some stuff I don’t like quite frankly. Makes me very uncomfortable. Two guys are about to fight and one guy says in a press conference-I’m going to kill him.”

Continuing on, “It makes me uncomfortable and Khamzat will use even stronger words like ‘Murder’, ‘I’m going to murder. But there’s something cute because of the accent and the understanding that we all have that this is a second and still foreign language to him where he can get away with things, at least with my mind that other people can’t.”

He also stated, “Yes, Chimaev can almost make poetry out of these terrible words, terrible acts. He certainly doesn’t mean it. Somebody’s given him the wrong words and we all understand that but sure Chimaev would be right up there.”
