Two of the biggest names in the UFC’s welterweight division have agreed to fight each other. MMA world’s rising star, and brightest prospect, Khamzat Chimaev has accepted to fight Gilbert Burns on April 9, 2022.

Burns is a former UFC welterweight title challenger. He took on ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Kamaru Usman at UFC 258 and lost the fight via TKO in the third round. He bounced back from the win with an impressive performance against one of the toughest men in the division, Stephen Thompson. Burns took ‘Wonderboy’ down on multiple occasions and cruised to a unanimous decision to win at UFC 264.
