Sean O’Malley knows all about getting blamed for having illegal steroids through medication. He has already faced backlash and suspension for traces of Ostarine in his system both in 2018 and 2019. Maybe this is why he could sympathize with Khalil Rountree Jr. when the latter had to withdraw from UFC 303 for the same reasons. Even though things are looking up for the fighter, the light heavyweight had accidentally consumed DHEA, which was a banned substance. Which was why he was suspended for two months and could not fight at UFC 303. ‘Suga’ was pretty upset and said the same in a recent podcast on his channel.
He revealed his stance and said, “The whole situation with Khalil Rountree, I heard it when he was on the Rogan podcast talking about it saying hey he was taking his supplement and did not realize it had this in it and reached out I mean, it seems; yeah it sucks for him. I am glad they are getting him on there.”
‘Suga’ knows all too well how it feels to be suspended for having a medication that might contain a banned substance. Conor McGregor even dragged him when Ryan Garcia was accused of consuming a banned substance. His buried feud again resurfaced, and the bantamweight who admired McGregor refuted the latter’s insults.

On the other hand, ‘The War Horse’ claimed that he did not know about the banned substance in his supplements, and immediately let UFC know of what was happening. Let’s see the details of what happened to the fighter, who is now going to appear at UFC 307 against Alex Pereira.
Khalil Rountree faces suspension for steroid use
The light heavyweight fighter had claimed that he was using a tailored supplement service and due to the mistake on the part of the company, he had consumed a banned ingredient. Unfortunately, the CSAD gave a two-month suspension from May 4, the date he reported himself to the authorities.
However, since he had reported the accidental consumption of the banned substance, and cooperated fully, his sentence was shortened. Fighters sometimes get more than one year of suspension, but he got two months. The press release said, “CSAD has determined that Rountree’s actions after he determined the error, and the evidence of this case, fit these criteria, and thus CSAD is reducing the sanction against Rountree to 2 months.”

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone that is naturally created by the body. However, it can act as a precursor to estrogen and testosterone. If a Supplement with this ingredient is taken, then the body’s testosterone might increase, and it is a hormone that increases strength, so DHEA is considered an anabolic dr*g. However, now everything is in the past and he is fighting at UFC 307. Do you think he’s going to win? Tell us in the comments below.
