UFC 282 got off to a solid start with some standout fights before devolving into a controversial affair. The co-main and main card bouts of the final pay-per-view event of the year sparked debate because of their conflicting outcomes. And, the judges of the event are held accountable for the unjust results of both bouts. In fact, Ali Abdelaziz, a well-known MMA manager, has demanded strict action for Doug Crosby, one of the event’s judges.

Abdelaziz went on record by claiming that Crosby was ‘ruining the sport’ as a judge and urged for unity to take decisive action against him.
Ali Abdelaziz demands a boycott on Doug Crosby
Ali Abdelaziz has a long association with the UFC, as he manages UFC personalities like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Kamaru Usman and more. In addition, the results of UFC 282 appear to have upset him no less than any other UFC fan.
The verdicts of Paddy Pimblett winning over Jared Gordan and Blachowicz vs. Ankalaev, resulting in a tie, left the UFC community tremendously disappointed. Following the incident, Abdelaziz took it to Twitter to express his thoughts on it and called for a boycott on Doug Crosby for ‘ruining the sport’.
I’m going to ask every commission out there not to have Douglas Crosby as judge, and I would like the support of all promotions these guy are ruining people life and ruining the sport enough is enough we have to stand together on this topic @bokamotoESPN @JohnMorgan_MMA

Abdelaziz wrote, “I’m going to ask every commission out there not to have Douglas Crosby as judge, and I would like the support of all promotions these guy are ruining people life and ruining the sport enough is enough we have to stand together on this topic @bokamotoESPN @JohnMorgan_MMA” along with mentioning John Morgan, the host of ‘The MMA Road Show‘ and ESPN reporter Brett Okomata.

Doug Crosby has been under fire from fans and even a few MMA personalities for posting putting out unjust results for the fights at UFC 282.
No hate for Paddy Pimblett
In spite of his criticism of the verdicts and the judge, Doug Crosby, Ali Abdelaziz, claimed Paddy Pimblett isn’t on his bad side. In response to his tweet criticizing Crosby, a supporter called out Pimblett. Responding to the user, Abdelaziz stated that the judges who are to be blamed, not ‘The Baddy’.

The MMA manager wrote, “I don’t have problems with the kid. I think the judges screw this one.” as he believes the judges are solely responsible for this setback.
