Despite mostly managing Islam Makhachev, Rizvan Magomedov, who has close ties with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team, revealed that Umar’s younger brother, Usman Nurmagomedov, the Bellator lightweight champion, has plans to extend his contract. At the end of the current one, the 26-year-old will compete under a new contract, but currently, they are in the negotiation stage, so his team hasn’t reached out to Dana White and & Co. for his arrival into the UFC.

I think if we get it right, we’ll be fighting in the UFC at 28. I’m 26 years old right now. Two years, I’ll get stronger and that’s it.
