Abubakar Nurmagomedov’s heroic act saves the life of a woman

UFC flyweight fighter and Abubakar’s teammate Tagir Ulanbekov took to his Instagram handle to share an incident. The flyweight penned down a post appreciating the act of heroism from his teammate for saving a drowning woman without any hesitation.  Ulanbekov shared a photo of his sitting with Abubakar and the late Abdulmanap [Khabib’s father] on his Instagram. He captioned it as “Peace be upon you! I would like to dedicate this post to my brother @abubakar_nurmagomedov.”

He continued, “Although I know he doesn’t like this kind of attention. But I can’t help but talk about what happened last weekend.”  The flyweight fighter narrated the story as he explained that Abubakar Nurmagomedov was just walking along the shores of the Caspian Sea when he witnessed a drowning woman. He explained that the shallow water had already left her exhausted and that’s when Abubakar jumped in without any hesitation to save the woman.

Tagir Ulanbekov ends the post with a lesson passed down by their coach and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father, “This action is a prime example of what our coach taught us: “do not pass by someone else’s distress and lend a helping hand when needed.” Moments like these remind us how important it is to be caring and ready to come to help at any time.”

Abubakar Nurmagomedov was a part of the promotion and had four fights under UFC but sadly after his loss against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, he had to be removed from the roster. With a record of 17 victories, 4 defeats, and 1 no contest, Abubakar Nurmagomedov is one of the best fighters coming out of Team Nurmagomedov.

The welterweight champ narrated that ‘Eagle’s generosity nearly made him cry as he talked highly about Team Khabib.

“So, I went down there, and Khabib got me my own hotel room and dropped me off. He was like, ‘Just wait here,’ and they got the groceries. Umar and Abubakar filled the kitchen with groceries and stuff like that. I was like, ‘Guys, you don’t have to. I’m good.’ And they go, ‘No, brother, we are gonna make sure you are alright. Anything you need, we got you. Then he bought me like $600 worth of shoes from Hermes,” said Belal Muhammad.
