Will Smith has become the talk of the town with his recent actions at the 94th Academy Awards. The veteran Hollywood actor slapped the event presenter Chris Rock on stage after feeling offended by a joke at his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s expense.
After the initial shock, fans saw the fun of it and few linked him with the UFC. Even the UFC president, Dana White, shared his thoughts on the incident. However, this is not the first time the Hollywood star mingled with the biggest MMA promotion in the world.

Smith has previously met with Khabib Nurmagomedov and the UFC Hall of Famer invited him to Dagestan. In a picture posted on Nurmagomedov’s social media, Will Smith posed with the Russian fighter. Further, the UFC star called Will Smith a “legend” in the caption.
“It was nice to meet you Legend @willsmith I’m waiting for you in Dagestan.”
The heartwarming picture received many reactions and is again going viral amid the recent Oscars controversy.

Many UFC stars, including Jorge Masvidal, Francis Ngannou, and Julianna Pena, reacted to the incident on their social media accounts.
Notably, Will Smith won the Best Actor award shortly after the on-stage altercation and gave a cryptic comment on the incident without naming Chris Rock.
Will Smith impressed Conor McGregor’s coach
The 53-year-old actor had also trained Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh in the past. In fact, the Irish coach shared a throwback picture after today’s slap incident.
Kavanagh has trained arguably the most iconic MMA fighter of all time in Conor McGregor. But training with the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a memory to cherish for the legendary coach.

In his own words, he was “super impressed” with the actor’s MMA skills. He told TalkSport, “I got to go out to an incredible sports complex out there. I’ve got a warrior program, and I put him through a typical session. I was super impressed with him.”
Kavanagh reminded everyone that this is the man who portrayed Muhammad Ali in his biopic. And so did Will Smith today at the 94th Oscars in the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood.
