Conor McGregor loves venturing into different waters and usually happens to find success, too. After establishing himself as arguably the biggest superstar in MMA, the Irishman went on to head successful ventures that included his whiskey business, a clothing line, and a management agency. Now, as we inch closer to an eventual return to his natural habitat, we are also teased by his acting venture. ‘Road House’ a remake of the 1989 original, starring McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal is set to hit theaters sometime this year.

But what made headlines this week was the 34-year-old’s possible appearance on TUF as a coach. While many names have been thrown around as possible coaches opposite McGregor, some are not too keen on the idea of the Irishman appearing on the show. Belal Muhammad, who was seen with Khabib Nurmagomedov beside him at UFC 280, particularly doesn’t appear to be convinced. Belal Muhammad attacks Conor McGregor’s potential TUF bout as a PR stunt
McGregor has been completely out of action, after the leg injury he suffered against Poirier at UFC 264. Possible fighters that could step up opposite Conor McGregor at TUF
A possible stint opposite McGregor means a world of opportunities for any fighter. If McGregor does end up as a coach, it will drive up interest in a show that has lost its popularity over the last few years. Although who will be the perfect dancing partner for the Irishman is a question that’s still up in the air.
Multiple names have cropped up, with Tony Ferguson also claiming that he has received an invitation from the UFC. The Lightweight could be a great option, considering both fighters once competed for the same title. Another name that’s popped up is Jorge Masvidal. The Miami gangster could be just the perfect guy to fill in the shoes since both the fighters do seem to have a dislike for each other. Apart from them, Michael Chandler is also someone who seems interested.
