The Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor rivalry keeps taking new shades. While Khabib has retired and is busy helping his teammates train, McGregor is prepping for a return soon. However, with Khabib’s teammates threatening to take over several divisions, it looks like other fighters are turning towards the Irish fighter for help.

Brian Kelleher recently shared a photoshopped image of himself with McGregor. The bantamweight will be seen fighting at UFC 272 against Umar Nurmagomedov, Khabib’s cousin. In response, the younger Nurmagomedov shared a picture of himself with Khabib. So, it seems like a Khabib versus McGregor fight all over again.

While ‘The Eagle’ will undoubtedly support his cousin, it is unclear whether McGregor will extend his support to Kelleher. ‘The Notorious’ hasn’t responded.

Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz joined this conversation and took a dig at McGregor. He said, “Brian, this guy has not won a fight since the 90’s, you a lot better than him. This guy get beat up inside the cage and outside the cage.”

With Abdelaziz’s recent dig, it would be interesting to see what McGregor has to say. With his rivalry with Khabib and dislike for the famous manager, it would not be surprising if McGregor shares some knowledge with Kelleher.

‘The Notorious’ lost twice against Dustin Poirier back in 2021. Because of a broken leg at UFC 264, he had to take a break from fighting. But he is expected to be back this year.
