Francis Ngannou and Ali Abdelaziz seem to be having some fun on social media. Both men are engaged in friendly banter, but Abdelaziz recently put out a challenge for Ngannou.

Africa Cup of Nations is currently on, and only four teams remain. Cameroon and Egypt will face each other on February 4, 2022, to book a place in the finals; Abdelaziz and Ngannou are definitely going to tune in. While Khabib Nurmagomedov’s agent was born in Egypt, ‘The Predator‘ was born in Cameroon. Hence, in the spirit of banter among fans, they have been going back and forth about the match.

Abdelaziz, who took to Twitter to challenge the UFC heavyweight champion to a bet, was met with a confident response. However, the CEO of Dominance MMA Management came back and just asked, “How much??”

Egypt, with seven wins, is the most successful team in the competition’s history. However, their last title was back in 2010. Cameroon, on the other hand, has won it five times, with their last win coming in 2017. It will be a match the soccer community is definitely going to tune in for.

While this was a friendly exchange between the two men, Abdelaziz recently got involved in a not-so-friendly one. He had a war of words with the former interim UFC lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson.

Ali Abdelaziz warns Tony Ferguson

Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are long-time rivals. Both men were booked to take each other on inside the octagon multiple times, but the fight always fell off. It is one of the greatest fights that never happened. However, this hasn’t stopped both of them from taking shots at each other.

Recently, ‘El Cucuy‘ posted a video, trolling Nurmagomedov for his weight cutting issues. Abdelaziz, Nurmagomedov’s manager, didn’t take kindly to the post and clapped back. This led to a fiery back-and-forth between the two men. Abdelaziz had the last word in the argument.

He said, “You only keep talking about Khabib to stay relevant, he would’ve ruined your life if you ever fought him. I wish you nothing but the best in your life, I’m not even gonna respond to you anymore.”
