While not fighting or training, ‘The Eagle’ enjoys his time playing football and basketball. He is a huge fan of the English football team Manchester United and is a friend of United’s forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
When it comes to basketball, the MMA GOAT Nurmagomedov surely adores the GOAT of the sport, Michael Jordan. ‘The Eagle’ is such a huge fan of Jordan that he even kept a bizarre condition to meet him.
During his appearance on the Full Send Podcast in February, the Russian fighter gave an unusual offer to the American comedian, Bob Menery, to meet former basketball player, Jordan.
“Three sheep. If you make me and Michael Jordan meet, I’m going to give you three sheep,” Khabib said in the video. However, his love for the basketball legend is never-ending, as seen in his recent Twitter post.

Khabib Nurmagomedov demands a title fight next for Islam Makhachev
‘The Eagle’ is training the UFC lightweight fighter, Islam Makhachev. And the latter is doing absolutely good in the division. He is currently on a ten-fight undefeated streak. However, he is yet to fight for the title.
Charles Oliveira recently lost his lightweight title after he failed to make the weight before UFC 274. However, he defeated challenger Justin Gaethje in the main event. Hence, he will fight next for the vacant title and Nurmagomedov suggested an opponent for him.
