Khabib Nurmagomedov: A champion through and through
Khabib has had all available eyeballs on him as of late following his retirement from MMA. The undisputed champion defeated yet another game challenger in Justin Gaethje to make his way towards a perfect 29-0. Nurmagomedov choked out the former interim champion via Triangle choke in the second round of their contest.
Chiefly, the fight wasn’t very competitive as Gaethje was far too concerned about being taken down. This in turn led Khabib to display his striking and he jabbed ‘The Highlight’ senselessly at a revolving range. Not to mention, he became the first champion to defend his belt with three consecutive submissions. This feat is amplified when looking at the quality of opponents he’s faced.
