Khabib Nurmagomedov is an asset to the world of MMA. During his professional career, the undefeated fighter (29-0) from Dagestan reached the pinnacle of MMA. Moreover, he stayed in it as a coach to contribute more to the sport. Even as a coach, ‘The Eagle’ cemented his legacy following his friend Islam Makhachev and cousin Usman Nurmagomedov’s championship victories. Nurmagomedov’s legacy was always to continue his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s dream – to develop world-class fighters from their region. Thus, Khabib Nurmagomedov opened his own MMA promotion in Russia – Eagle FC. With all his contributions to the sport, recent reports of the Dagestan-born fighter’s retirement shook the fight fanatics. While Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager also commented on his Instagram post, the outspoken MMA figure did not have much to add to the retirement news. Ali Abdelaziz jokingly wrote, “You’re not cold”. Nurmagomedov is pretty much built differently than any other fighter much to the astonishment of Abdelaziz. Anyhow, the important conversation would be what happens to Nurmagomedov’s empire after his retirement.
What happens after Khabib Nurmagomedov retires?
