The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is arguably the biggest rivalry the UFC has witnessed. Even though they both fought, there hasn’t really been an end to their rivalry. The origins of this rivalry can be traced to many different events. However, now, a video of Conor McGregor trying to pronounce Khabib Nurmagomedov’s name has now emerged.

In a video uploaded on an Instagram page, Khabib Nurmagomedov was seen clarifying the pronunciation of his name. ‘The Eagle’ said, “Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov.

However, in another video, Conor McGregor seemed to struggle to pronounce Nurmagomedov’s name. It seemed as if the former two-division champion of the world said, “Khabib Nurmadurgadurg.

While Conor McGregor struggled to pronounce Nurmagomedov’s name, ‘Mystic Mac’ struggled to fight ‘The Eagle’ too. However, ‘The Notorious’ did his best and achieved a feat no one else could.

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor at UFC 229

UFC 229 was remembered both for right and wrong reasons. On this night, Khabib Nurmagomedov put rest to the claims of who was the best 155-pound fighter on the planet. A lot of hype surrounded the event, and it definitely lived up to the expectations of all the fans.

The fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov was largely dominated by the latter. Early on, Nurmagomedov landed a takedown. While ‘The Eagle’ didn’t land much damage, he controlled McGregor on the ground. This proved enough for ‘The Eagle’ to win the round.

Round 2 of the fight left MMA fans shell-shocked. Nurmagomedov landed a right hand, which seemed to knock down Conor McGregor. From there, ‘The Eagle’ landed ground and pound to win the second round too. In the third round, McGregor achieved a feat no one did. ‘Mystic Mac’ won the third round against Nurmagomedov, who hadn’t lost a single round until that moment.

However, McGregor could not follow up with the success he had in round 3. Nurmagomedov landed another takedown in round 4 and eventually submitted McGregor via a neck crank.

After the fight, an ugly incident took place when Nurmagomedov jumped the cage and attacked team Conor McGregor. This led to a huge mass brawl breaking out, which was later brought under control.
