Kayla Harrison is one of the biggest free agents in MMA right now. But according to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, that is about to change pretty quickly. With Bellator MMA going after the Olympic gold medalist, PFL is not holding back to retain one of their biggest stars.
Amidst all the speculations around where Harrison would end up, a big showbiz name has given her take on the matter.

According to Helwani, as PFL has matched the Bellator’s offer to Harrison, the undefeated fighter will re-sign with PFL in the coming days.
Upon hearing the news, an ardent MMA fan in Kendra Lust commented on Helwani’s post. She commented, “I wanna see her go to Bellator.”
Perhaps Lust wants Harrison to go up against the Bellator’s women’s featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg. The matchup is touted as the biggest women’s fight to make right now.
Earlier, the UFC showed tremendous interest in signing the multi-time PFL women’s lightweight tournament winner. Harrison and Amanda Nunes were supposed to have a big match after the latter fought Julianna Pena at UFC 269.
However, as ‘The Venezuelan Vixen‘ shocked the world and stopped Nunes’ dominant run to become the champion, the matchup was put on hold

Harrison had another big matchup, in Cris Cyborg, at Bellator. Thus, the fans expected to see this bout in the Bellator cage. By the looks of it, Bellator tried its best to make this dream fight a reality. Unfortunately for them, PFL was not ready to give up on Harrison.
Even though Harrison might sign with PFL, a Cyborg fight might take place soon.
Kayla Harrison and Cris Cyborg might happen in PFL
On The Catch-Up With Cris Cyborg and James Lynch, Cris Cyborg revealed her Bellator deal has one or two fights left. She also suggested that her contract would end around summer this year. Hence, PFL should jump at this opportunity, add her to their ranks, and book Cyborg vs ‘Doug’.

Though it is great news for a Cyborg-Harrison matchup, Bellator would definitely make a play to not lose one of their most prominent champions.
