Kayla Harrison is all set to take on Holly Holm at UFC 300. The 5 foot 8 inches tall bantamweight fighter has previously fought for the UFC’s rival promotion too. That’s right. Before joining Dana White and Co., Kayla Harrison was a member of the PFL and she was a well-paid one.

Now, she’s prepared to take on her very first fight in the UFC. The last time she fought was against Aspen Ladd at the Professional Fighters League – 2023 Season PFL Championships in November 2023. So, how much did she get paid over her time at the PFL?

Kayla Harrison has fought all of her 17 fights in the PFL. Back when she fought and defeated Kaitlin Young in July 2022. She reportedly made about $500,000 just for her show money purse. She defeated Young via a TKO stoppage victory in the very first round.

Clearly, Harrison was a highly valued fighter in the promotion and she looks forward to being in the UFC as well. Before that, back in 2019, Bobbi Jo Dalziel was defeated by Harrison via a brilliant first-round armbar stoppage victory. For that fight, Harrison made about $1,24,850 out of which $100,000 was her base salary.

Perhaps 2022 and the years after that are when Harrison made the most money with her PFL 2-season contract awarding her about $1 million per bout. Clearly, Kayla Harrison has grown a lot in the promotion and made a whole lot of money fighting for it.

“I’m just a much more evolved fighter. I’m a much more evolved person,” Harrison said in the news about herself going forward into her career. “Every day I get a little bit better, and I’m still just scratching the surface,” she admitted. Now she’s moved to the UFC. But why?
