It seems like Kamala Harris is all geared up to sit down for an interview with popular podcaster Joe Rogan. For the past two days, the media world has been abuzz to find out whether an episode featuring the two has been confirmed, and now it seems like we may finally have a confirmation.
It is no surprise that Rogan’s audience is largely comprised of young males. And it is the perfect demographic that the Democratic presidential candidate is trying to target as per several reports. So, when American far-right radio show host Alex Jones recently talked about the possibility of having the Vice President of the United States on the Joe Rogan Experience, he all but confirmed the news later on his social media.
As per reports, officials from Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign met with Rogan’s crew this week. However, an appearance was yet to be confirmed. But, in a recent retweet by Jones, he has hinted that the appearance of the Democratic presidential candidate on the Joe Rogan Experience is confirmed. He wrote, “I can’t tell you what I know, but I would have the popcorn ready;)” In the re-tweeted video, he also revealed that the Harris-Waltz campaign has indeed reached out to Joe Rogan. And according to them, the podcast could be their secret weapon to reach out to the young men belonging to the minority group.

He said, “The Harris-Waltz campaign has reached out to Joe Rogan right here in Austin, Texas, and had asked to come on his number one podcast. That’s shot in a studio just a few miles from where its studios are based.” Jones further added, “They think this is going to save them and this could be their secret weapon.” Trump and Kamala Harris are surely using the new media tactics to reach their voters. The podcast scene is at an all-time high, with it becoming more popular with every passing day. So it is no wonder that the candidates are invariably making appearances on top shows; many of which attract young men. A key demographic in this election.
