UFC’s Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje will defend his BMF title against the former featherweight champion, Max Holloway, at UFC 300. Gaethje is without a doubt one of the most exciting fighters on the planet. Fight fans are coming into the fight against Holloway expecting nothing less than a war.

Gaethje throughout the years has become a fan favorite in the promotion. And with his ever-growing popularity, “The Highlight’s” tattoos got just as much recognition. So let us dive in and take a look at all the inks that Gaethje has on his body.

Justin Gaethje’s famous rib tattoos

The former UFC interim champion, Justin Gaethje has two tattoos on his ribcage which are wildly iconic. One seems to be a nightmare for any tattoo artist looking at it and the other one pays homage to the way he fights every time he gets inside the UFC octagon.

Gaethje has the iconic “Bad Boy” logo tattooed on his left ribcage. The eyes tattoo on Gaethje’s ribs is heavily criticized by tattoo artists, however, UFC fans might disagree with the opinion, given how the ink has now become something that fight fans associate the UFC lightweight with.

The second tattoo on the right side of his ribs is that of the forces of good and evil fighting each other. The good signifies the angel with wings and the bad is portrayed by the entity with horns.  The tattoo also has the words “Before” and “Dishonour” which could show the motto of “Death before dishonor” he lives by. Gaethje has a few more tattoos aside from the ones on his ribs.

Other tattoos on “The Highlight”

Being a Christian, Justin Gaethje has a tattoo of a cross on his shoulder. A cross tattoo is usually a representation of your devotion to Christ. It symbolizes themes such as faith, sacrifice, redemption, and a connection to a higher power.

The 35-year-old also has one more tattoo, which is his surname “GAETHJE” inked on his back. Though Gaethje has never revealed the meanings behind his tattoos, we can just observe the ink and compare it to how “The Highlight” lives his life.
