JRE #1842 featured neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman alongside Rogan, and the two discussed diverse topics. In one segment, the two spoke about Brian Johnson, aka “Liver King,” an internet figure who burst into stardom recently due to his diet.
According to Johnson, his all-meat, organ diet, which consists primarily of liver, maple syrup, eggs, and testes, is one of the key factors responsible for his shredded physique. Johnson lives by the “nine ancestral tenets,” which he believes are key for one to reach their highest and most dominant form.

Rogan said, “The Liver King thing drives me nuts because that guy is on steroids. Just shut the f**k up! I know he’s eating really healthy. It’s clear he’s eating all these animal foods, and he’s eating organ meat, which is very rich in nutrients, and that’s true, but he’s dodging the main bullet.”
The UFC color commentator added, “Well, look at him. Do you know how rare it is to have a physique like that and not be on steroids? You would have to be in the 00000.1 percent of the human population. Just rare genetic freaks. I don’t care how much you lift weights. That is a freak physique.”

From these statements, it is clear that Rogan doesn’t think that The Liver King has an all-natural physique. Huberman also debunked another claim made by Johnson. According to Johnson, eating an organ like a liver would specifically channel its nutrients to the organ it would most benefit. Huberman disapproved of this message and claimed that there was no evidence of the statement made.
