The former Bellator MMA fighter has come up and shut down the rumors of Tony Ferguson and Conor McGregor appearing on The Ultimate Fighter. This comes in light of Michael Chandler trying to get into a fight with ‘The Notorious’. Moreover, ‘Iron Mike’ also threw his name in contention for The Ultimate Fighter with ‘The Notorious.’ The 36-year-old was energetic and seemed to have a ‘good time’ in his recent interview while revealing some inside news that may shut down rumors.

Michael Chandler rubbishes rumors of Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson on TUF

Michael Chandler recently appeared on Michael Bisping‘s podcast. He opened up about a lot of rumors and news surrounding the division. The UFC lightweight also addressed one of the most interesting rumors that has been floating around. Chandler commented on his rivals, Tony Ferguson and Conor McGregor‘s possibility of coming together on TUF.

Chandler said on the rumor, “That was definitely just a tweet.” Furthermore, the UFC lightweight added, “I know for sure that was definitely just a tweet thrown out there to see if it gained attraction… Tony Ferguson is just throwing stuff out there. That’s been in the talks.”

Moreover, Chandler also spoke about him coming on TUF with ‘The Notorious’. He added, “Obviously, everybody knows I would be down. Me, Conor on TUF whether it be four, six weeks, however long. We will be filming that thing.”

Further describing his excitement, the 36-year-old added, “The tension, the rivalry, the competition, the trash talk. Just the animosity that would build up and go to the training camp and fight later on after the show.”

Michael Chandler described how his fight with McGregor would play out

The former Bellator MMA champion has wanted a fight with ‘The Notorious’ since he stepped foot in the UFC. Now he described the fight with McGregor as, “I want the fight, everybody knows that. The fans wants the fight. Dana has gone public saying he wants that fight. So the UFC wants that fight.”

Furthermore, he painted a picture during the podcast. Chandler continued, “Man, huge fight. Can you imagine the first round? Can you imagine the foggy dew and then my NF coming out on and then we go out there and them just two dudes trying to finish each other in the first round. Massive.”
