The name “Juggernaut” is generally given to someone or something that seems unstoppable or indestructible despite what lies ahead in its path. A perfect example would be the Marvel character, Cain Marco A.K.A. (Juggernaut) from the X-Men, who is one of the strongest beings in the fictional universe. Though it is not clear or known who termed him as the Juggernaut, the fight moniker definitely suits him.

Tafa’s start to his MMA career before joining the UFC seemed unstoppable. With a 4-0 record, with all 4 of his wins coming by way of Knockouts, the nickname “Juggernaut” really fit into who he is as a fighter. The Samoan knockout artist then broke into the UFC, despite losing his first fight in the promotion, he bounced back with a first-round knockout in his second fight with an impressive right hook.

Junior Tafa will get another chance at UFC 298, to show the fans why people call him the Juggernaut of MMA. Though it wouldn’t be an easy task given he took the fight 70 minutes prior to the official weigh-ins.
