Would a Trump appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast break the internet or backfire spectacularly?

What could get Joe Rogan to budge from his decision to host Donald Trump on his podcast? Well, that’s the question many netizens ask when they stumble upon discussions about him not inviting the former US President to his talk show. In a previous conversation with Lex Friedman on the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator expressed the real reason why he didn’t want to invite the ex-POTUS to the podcast.

Rogan had said, “I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.” But now, the fighting community has begun speculating about a few other reasons why the 57YO podcaster has always refused to invite Trump.

The pair had made headlines recently after Trump went off on Rogan for seemingly endorsing RFK Jr. The JRE host clarified that his statement preferring RFK Jr. as an individual was interpreted as an endorsement of his presidential aspirations. Later, Trump, too, eased his stance and stated he had no negativity against the longtime UFC commentator.

A post on X has been going viral that links back to an article from KRLD NewsRadio 1080. The article confirms that there is no tension between the former President and the UFC color commentator. As per the text, Trump was pretty interested in making an appearance on the JRE. However, he was yet to get an invitation.

As soon as the tweet hit the social media platform, the internet community burst into action and took over the comments section. And with the recently concluded Presidential debate, these demands have only grown louder.

Netizens speculate why Joe Rogan doesn’t want Donald Trump on the JRE

Would a Trump appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast break the internet or backfire spectacularly?

Have an interesting take?

Needless to say, the fans believed that getting someone like Trump on the podcast would significantly boost the numbers for the Joe Rogan Experience. And the JRE was already a pretty successful show. But with great success, comes greater scrutiny. One of the fans pointed out that it might be the reason why Rogan never invited Trump. The comment read, “I think JRE is afraid of the backlash.” Another fan wrote, “Not having him on is regarded. It would break the internet.”

Another fan blamed it all on Spotify, the audio platform that pushed the JRE to great heights. Well, if the platform had a problem with Trump, Rogan had no option to get him on the show. The fan wrote, “Spotify probably has a No Trump clause… That would make more sense.”

The fans simply wanted the JRE host to have a 3-hour-long conversation with the ex-POTUS. With the 2024 Presidential Elections right around the corner, people wanted to know what the candidates thought. After all, it would be a pretty great marker to check if the man the American citizens are voting for is the right choice or not.

One of the fans wrote, “If true, Joe should ask him for the interview. See if Trump can earn his audience’s vote.” Meanwhile, another fan typed out, “This podcast needs to happen.  A sit down between Trump and Rogan would be huge for this country.  Rogan would ask tough questions. Trump would respond to them.  I believe there is alot of common ground between both men.  Make it happen Joe!!!!!!!!”

But the excitement around the talks was palpable. A comment read, “Can we make this happen. It would be cool to see and listen.” However, the fans didn’t back away from making some quirky remarks. One fan commented, “wouldn’t it be funny if, rogan doesn’t get him on, kamala and deep state wins by a whisker again, and rogan with his inconvenient talking is silenced?”

Nevertheless, the UFC color commentator has declared his decision on multiple occasions. He was completely against the notion of inviting Trump to the podcast. But if it does happen, it would be nothing short of phenomenal.
