Bryce Mitchell may have landed himself in serious trouble as his recent statements about a World War II villain appear to have completely backfired. The featherweight UFC fighter has been facing a wave of criticism, including from his boss and former opponents. In his most recent remarks, Mitchell asserted that he felt Adolf Hitler was actually a good guy who fought for his nation.
According to Bryce Mitchell, the profound villain of WWII, Hitler, was indeed a “good guy based on my own research.” While having a discussion in his own podcasting channel, the featherweight fighter claimed that Hitler fought for his country in lieu of a greater cause. He said, “Fought for his country, he wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy J*ws out that were destroying his country and turning them all into ga*s. To make matters worse, the UFC fighter even suggested that one of the greatest travesties of the world did not actually occur.
“That’s what your public education will tell you Roli because you believe your public education because you haven’t done your own research. When you realize there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated six million bodies, you’re gonna realize the Holocaust ain’t real,” said Mitchell.

As soon as Bryce Mitchell’s views hit the internet, the MMA community and the public expressed their disdain. Holocaust-denying is not a joke and Mitchell can be called upon to be held accountable for it. Mitchell’s former opponent, Josh Emmett, took to his X handle to add a single statement for the hubbub, “So what did I miss today?”

Emmett and Mitchell fought back in 2023 at UFC 296. ‘CCO’ knocked Mitchell out of the park as he secured the victory in the very first round. It was one of the most brutal knockouts of 2023 because Mitchell folded to the mat after the punch. It was the third loss in his MMA career and it rattled Mitchell so much that he had to wait a year to return to the Octagon once again.

Well, apart from the jab Emmett has not yet condemned Mitchell’s words. However, UFC CEO Dana White has come forward to straighten out the featherweight fighter.
Dana White issues strong words for Bryce Mitchell’s statement
Bryce Mitchell outright denied the Holocaust, but according to reports from Witold Pilecki, a Polish intelligence officer who infiltrated Auschwitz to gather intelligence, the reality was far more disturbing than the world knows. According to the archive reports, at least 1.1 million died at the hands of the German side in the specific Auschwitz. Regardless, looking at this matter, Dana White was bombarded by questions at a press conference and he had only one answer for his fighter.

“That’s the beautiful thing about this business. For all of you that hate Bryce Mitchell, you get to see him hopefully get his a** whooped on global television,” White said. “What do you want me to say about it? You know where I am with free speech. We’re disgusted by it. I think he’s literally one of the dumbest human beings.”
The UFC head honcho refused to entertain any notion about a punishment to the fighter but the promotion might be doing something behind the lines. Regardless, what are your takes on this statement? State your thoughts in the comments below.
