Jake Paul is ready to face Tyron Woodley in one of the most expected boxing events of the year. However, before choosing Woodley as his opponent, Paul called out various other fighters out. ‘The Problem Child’ was and still is lobbying for a match against UFC veteran Jorge Masvidal.

However, Masvidal has seldom shown interest in fighting Paul. And even if ‘Gamebred’ wanted to, as he is still under contract with the UFC, it would not be possible. Recently Masvidal made a prediction about Paul’s fight with Woodley which did not sit well with ‘The Problem Child’.

Therefore, recently Paul had taken various shits at Masvidal. Now, during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Jorge Masvidal’s manager, Malki Kawa, defended his client and called out Paul.

He said, “Jake Paul is the ultimate clout chaser. Jake Paul, when he was with Jorge Masvidal at the gym, I was there. Let’s not get s**t twisted here at all. Lots of respect to Jake Paul and his team. I’m not here to create more drama. But let’s not also pretend that like you’re in Cleveland, Ohio, and he’s in Miami, Florida. Because I bet you if he would have been here today with me, the whole demeanor of that whole team changes.”

Kawa even went on to talk about the time Paul walked into a room with Masvidal and how his demeanor changed in presence of ‘Gamebred.’

He said, “We were in a room with him recently about a month ago. And the freeze, when there were not fifteen dudes with him, was there.”

“The eyes that went wide open were there. Like, stop calling people out that you know you’re never going to fight. When he walked into that room, he looked kind of crazy, like, ‘Oh s**t’. And I had to tell him, ‘Yo bro, relax. You’ll be alright.”

Will a fight between Jorge Masvidal and Jake Paul ever take place?

While as of now Jorge Masvidal is under contract with the UFC, a fight with Paul seems highly unlikely. However, one can be confident that these two fighters will compete sometime in the future.
