Jorge Masvidal has proven to be one of the biggest names in the UFC. His fights and rivalry with various other top fighters are well known. While he hasn’t had the opportunity to become the UFC welterweight champion yet, he remains a top fighter in the division. In fact, President Dana White too has admitted that ‘Gamebred’ is a “pay-per-view superstar”.
Being such an in-demand MMA fighter also comes with some luxuries. Recently, Masvidal shared a few pictures of himself on Twitter. In the pictures, he was seen having a look at a spectacular red Ferrari. More specifically, a 296 GTB. Along with the pictures, he wrote, “Decisions on a Monday”.

So, it seems the fighter might actually have a new supercar by next week. However, UFC fighter Belal Muhammad was quick to take a dig at Masvidal. Sharing an altered version of the original picture Masvidal shared, Muhammad once again called him out.

Muhammad has been itching to fight the 35-15-0 record holder. He has shared his intention of fighting Masvidal and, as a result, has been regularly taking shots at him. ‘Remember the name’ has been winning most of his recent fights, while Masvidal has unfortunately lost both the title bouts against Kamaru Usman.
So this matchup might be a good one, considering Muhammad stands at number 5 and Masvidal at number 6 on the welterweight rankings. MMA enthusiasts will have to wait and watch whether this bout will take place or not in the future.

What’s next for Jorge Masvidal?
‘Gamebred’ has not won since 2019 and after destroying Nate Diaz at UFC 244, Masvidal was unable to secure the welterweight title. However, this has not affected his credentials as an MMA fighter because there are many who want to fight him. Plus, his famous rivalry with Colby Covington could someday have an interesting outcome.

So, when the fighter chooses to return to the octagon, fans would be curious to see whom he has decided to fight. After two back-to-back losses, it might be important for him to choose his opponents carefully.
