The question took him aback. When Helwani explained that McGregor and Chandler would be facing off as coaches on TUF season 31, he asked if Masvidal was in the mix. Masvidal replied, saying, “Nah, hell no. Conor knows I’m gonna break his fu*king eye orbital and in a bad way.”
“I’m too technical, too big for him. So you know, I’m never I’m never in that um discussion. But maybe one day it will be you know I don’t know.” He further added.
Masvidal was confident in his statements, claiming that he would fight and destroy McGregor in his own game. He stated that he would not shy away from a striking matchup and was not afraid of the former double-division champ’s striking prowess.
