The UFC tried to bring an end to a supposedly unending rivalry between Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington and Jorge’ Gamebred’ Masvidal at UFC 272. The duo clashed with one another for the first time ever, and it was Covington who walked away with his hands raised. However, the rivalry between former teammates and best friends clearly did not conclude on that night. Recent reports from Miami suggest the duo broke into a brawl outside Papi Steak restaurant.

The Gamebred has now shared yet another statement on Twitter, following yesterday’s massive brawl. The 37-year-old fighter took aim at his former teammate once again and reiterated his thoughts about Covington’s trash talk. Masvidal has never been a fan of trash talkers and likes to conduct his business inside the octagon.

Several controversial statements from Chaos definitely struck a nerve with the UFC star, as he stated that talking about someone’s kid is not cool.

How did the entire brawl transpire between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal?

According to a report shared by TMZ, Covington was in the company of the Nelk Boys at the restaurant for an interview. Roughly around 11:00 pm, Masvidal turned up at the restaurant and that’s when the chaos ensued. The duo allegedly traded blows, but it cannot be confirmed, who came out on top. Shortly after, Masvidal shared a video message on his Twitter account, targeted at Covington.

He said, “Calling this, ‘Show your face challenge’, you know? Um, what’s up? I’m from Dade county, you talk that sh** you gotta back it up. That’s how my city rolls, man.

Masvidal’s manager, Malki Kawa boldly claimed that Covington lost a tooth during the brawl and it was his client that came out on top. In a follow-up message, Kawa thanked Nelk Boys for making Covington’s whereabouts public, which could have allegedly paved the way for this brawl.
