According to reports, ‘Gamebred’ and ‘Chaos’ were involved in an altercation outside Papi Steak, a restaurant in Miami. Colby Covington was there with the Nelk Boys, which was apparent in a video he shared on social media. However, things were about to take a turn for the worse.

Then Jorge Masvidal reportedly arrived at the restaurant and attacked the former interim champion when the latter was about to leave. ‘Choas’ had made some comments about his former friend’s children. That seemingly angered Masvidal and ended up attacking Covington.

Thereafter, video footage emerged of Colby Covington, who was surrounded by law enforcement officials after the incident took place. He then went on to accuse Jorge Masvidal of sucker-punching him and continuing his attack until ‘Chaos’ lost one of his teeth that night. Moreover, Covington also accused his former friend of damaging his Rolex watch, which was worth around $90,000.

After all the reports, Jorge Masvidal was arrested. He was charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief. However, he did not plead guilty at that time. Nevertheless, he was ordered to stay at least 25 meters away from Colby Covington. Now, more than a year after the incident, ‘Gamebred’ finally got closure on the assault case.
