Shane Reed was the fighter knocking out the other one out. He also walked around the ring in McGregor’s royal style, which the UFC legend often did inside the octagon.

Moreover, Reed managed to knockout his opponent very early into the first round just like ‘The Notorious One’. All these factors worked cumulatively in order to give Reed his nickname. The audience went nuts after this knockout. The match lasted only about a minute.

It’s really hard to live up to the standards of such nicknames, even though they can be given to many. The chances are really faint that Shane Reed will ever achieve a stature like ‘The Notorious One’. Albeit, uncertainty is always an element in sports. So achieving new feats cannot be ruled out totally either.
