Jon Jones’s career has been nothing but a rollercoaster ride for the dual-weight champion. ‘Bones’ embraced his UFC journey when he was just 21 years old and it took him just two years under the promotion to become a champion at 23. It must be noted that the fighter is the youngest champion in the history of the promotion. With a career spanning over a decade, it appears that it is time for ‘Bones’ to put his gloves down after his clash against Stipe Miocic.

It must be noted that last month, a fan asked him the same on social media, to which the heavyweight champ said, “Fun fact after this year Jon Jones will never have to work again, retired at age 37.”

Well, ‘Bones’ was supposed to fight Miocic last year at the UFC 295 but his pectoral injury hindered their fight. After a year of waiting, Dana White came forward to officially announce that the UFC 309 would be headlined by Jones and Miocic. He said, “Jon Jones is going to fight [Stipe Miocic] in Madison Square Garden in November. And then if he wins or Stipe wins, we see what happens next,” said White.
