When will Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall, happen? Will it even happen at all? The 37 year old has been ducking the interim heavyweight champ for a long time now frustrating him and the fans. It has almost been 16 months now that the feud started after Aspinall won the interim HW title against Curtis Blaydes. But ‘Bones’? He would rather prefer Alex Pereira but the latter just lost his title to Magomed Ankalaev. So now what?
Apparently Aspinall claimed that everything on his side is ‘done’ for the title unification bout but Jones is holding things up. But there is finally a breakthrough and we might see the silver lining soon through the dark clouds! Ariel Helwani reported that Jones needs 6 months to prepare for the fight. He said, “Because I was told that Jon wants six months to prepare [once] the fight is locked in. And what’s six months from now? September?”
But there is one catalyst that could make this fight happen sooner. Maybe a few more numbers in his check on the table and Jones would be ready to put his undisputed gold on the line. Money indeed speaks but will Dana White pay a “f**k you money” to Jones?

I beat Alex please fight big [Tom Aspinall] stop running.”
