Jon Jones, the reigning king of the heavyweight division is aiming to break another record. In a recent social media post on X (formally known as Twitter), Bones announced his intention to surpass his undefeated record of 27-1-0, which includes never being knocked out or outscored throughout his career.
Jones, who has been away from the Octagon for 14 months due to injuries, has fueled speculation about his return with a recent social media post. While the exact date was previously tentative, Jones himself has now confirmed his comeback, which is set for November 9th at UFC 309.

Previously, Boney targeted a return against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295. However, the fight was canceled due to Jones’s injuries, fortunately without him losing his title. Now healthy and ready to fight, Jones is likely to face ‘Stone Cold’, with a possible date for November. He stated, “I am not changing my plans for anyone. Stipe is over there as the best heavyweight ever working his a** off, I’m gonna give that man what he wants..”
This news has disappointed Tom Aspinall, who has openly campaigned for a fight with Jones, a dream matchup for him. Feeling that Jon Jones is responsible for their fight not happening, Aspinall called him out for “playing games.”

UFC CEO Dana White announced an interim clash between Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in July 2024. Meanwhile, on May 12th, White also announced that Stipe Miocic would be Jon Jones’ opponent and confirmed it’s going to happen in New York.
Aspinall’s controversial comments ignore Jones’s Feud
Tom Aspinall recently joined the Mac Life channel, where he showed his colorful side. During the interview, he took playful jabs at Jon Jones. The conversation took a humorous turn when OnlyFans was mentioned. Aspinall jokingly remarked that Jones might be subscribed to Stripe Miocic’s OnlyFans, targeting both fighters because Jon Jones opted to fight Stipe Miocic instead of him.

The interviewer humorously asked Aspinall if he had subscribed to Stipe Miocic’s OnlyFans since Aspinall is not on social media but seems to know about Miocic’s every move. Aspinall replied in a funny and explicit way saying, “Are there d*ck pics on there [Stipe’s OnlyFans]? Maybe Jon’s subscribed to it.” which suggests an unflattering insinuation against Jon Jones.
Until now, Jones has not responded to Tom Aspinall’s comment. However, one question remains: why hasn’t Jon Jones accepted Tom Aaspinall’s challenge to fight him? Now, it’s up to the fate and UFC CEO Dana White to decide who Jon Jones will face next. Stay Tuned.
