Jon Jones is undoubtedly one of the greatest fighters in the history of the UFC. “I’ve had a lot of success at the light heavyweight division and now I’m ready to compete at the heavyweight division and challenge myself against some of the biggest toughest athletes that the sport has ever seen”, said Jones.
Also, he shed some light on why he did not make this move earlier. “I wasn’t ready before, I had more work to do. I like heavyweight but this time it feels great. The time is now and I’m glad that I finally made the move”, Jones said.
Jon ‘Bones’ Jones also thinks that the heavyweight division is at an all-time high at the moment, and consists of excellent talents like Ciryl Gane.

Jon Jones’ Return Fight Against Ciryl Gane
At first, rumors led fans to believe that Jon Jones was going to fight Francis Ngannou. But Ngannou parted ways with UFC and vacated the heavyweight title. Shortly after he left, UFC announced Jon Jones‘ fight against Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title.
