Mark Zuckerberg has once again shocked the world, only this time it’s not great news. The Meta CEO and passionate MMA enthusiast has gotten himself bedridden. The tech genius has shown his spirit to continue competing in MMA, however, now there’s a big obstacle in his way.
The injury comes after Elon Musk portrayed his wish to still fight Zuckerberg on The Joe Rogan Experience. First, Musk was accused of pulling out and being hesitant, now he’s accusing ‘Zuck’ of pulling out. However, a fight seems rather unlikely with an injury like this.

Zuckerberg very recently brought the MMA world to his comment section yet again. He tore his ACL while sparring and might have to wait for a while before he can compete again. This makes a cage fight between him and Musk extremely difficult.
Here are some reactions from the UFC world.
“Speedy recovery Mark” wrote Merab Dvalishvili.
“We got this” was Jon Jones‘ response.
Some others encouraged a quick healing.
“Heal up and speedy recovery” Alex Chambers said in the comments.
Israel Adesanya sent down a saluting emoji in true ‘Izzy’ fashion.
“Man.” Jon Anik said
“Not a real fighter until your first surgery” was the response of Conor McGregor‘s coach, John Raymond Kavanagh
“Heal up mate, all the best with recovery,” wrote Dan Hooker.

ACL injuries are becoming increasingly common among MMA fighters. And they take devastatingly long to recover. Zuckerberg could be out for a solid six months to a year following his injury. So competing with MMA professionals becomes more or less impossible. But how about fighting with X CEO Elon Musk?

Initially, Zuckerberg implied to the world that Musk wasn’t being serious about their proposed fight. His claim was that Musk had pulled out of the fight. However, now, the Tesla CEO is fighting this claim with a claim of his own. He recently appeared on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience where he got candid about the fight.
“I’m willing to do it anytime, anywhere, any place, any rules. I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances. Pistols at dawn, Nerf guns at noon,” said Musk. He also accused Zuckerberg of chickening out of their fight and felt that he himself had the “unfair” advantage of being heavier than ‘Zuck’.
