March 2023 saw Jon Jones beat Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 for the vacant heavyweight title after a three-year layoff. His last scheduled fight with Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 was canceled because of a shoulder injury. Despite the pectoral tear that made ‘Bones’ go on a huge break,it seems like the American fighter may be back soon. The best Pound4Pound fighter according to Dana White is already training in the gym and might soon be seen opposite Stipe Miočić.
The UFC CEO is not the only one who is counting on the UFC star. The latest video uploaded by Jones saw other legends from different industries cheering him on.

Jon Jones gets a shoutout from Chuck Norris!
Jon Jones is already back in the gym and squatting 500 lbs, which is making fans and veterans awestruck. This video not only got comments from his diehard fans but also from legendary veterans from different industries. Hollywood star and former martial artist, Chuck Norris made his day by commenting on his post. He wrote, “Looking strong, my friend. Can’t wait to see you back in the Octagon!” Jones was elated and replied to the legend saying, “Chuck, you just made me officially cool.”

Jones uploaded his gym training video along with a second video of him cycling in the hills. He captioned the post saying that he finished almost squatted 525 lbs for a set of three. He also declared that after staying on a long hiatus and recovering from his surgery, getting his strength back was an awesome experience for him. He further wrote, “Got 18 weeks and three days to improve, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Progress equals happiness, sacrifice today, smile tomorrow. Find your love for self-improvement. That’s a @youngla T-shirt by the way.”

Not only did he feel elated with his progress but made other famous personalities. Apart from Chuck Norris, MMA influencer Helen Yee, and YouTuber/ pro boxer, Jake Paul was also surprised to see the consensus GOAT back in business. He declared that he only has 18 weeks to get into the Octagon and this is getting the fans more excited.

Jones to return against Stipe Miocic?
Dana White declared that Jones would be back in the Octagon against Miocic at the UFC St. Louis post-fight press conference. The UFC head honcho said, “Yeah, it’s Stipe. I think Jon’s just asking, ‘Who do you like? What do you think?’ Kind of just feeling it out, seeing what people think. But he knows he’s fighting Stipe.”

Not only does the boss think that Jones is the best Pound 4 Pound fighter in the world, but he is also excited for this comeback. The former heavyweight champion also hinted that his fight might be on November 9 in Madison Square Garden. Along with this, he also might have hinted that this might be his last fight before he retires.
One silver lining in all of this is that the GOAT has more than one option to choose from because Tom Aspinall has already shown his interest in fighting the legend.
