Tonight’s edition of UFC Fight Night Vegas 100 was truly special. The Brazilian Carlos Prates walked into the top 15 after knocking out ‘The Haitian Sensation,’ Neil Magny. The crowd erupted when the main event fight reached a stunning end, and now one of these fans thanked Dana White and Jon Jones for a special gesture that they did at the event at the UFC Apex, Nevada.
Well, it wasn’t exactly a fan; instead, it was his father who decided to take to social media to share a special message for the UFC boss and ‘Bones.’ And the father in question is none other than the actor, Richard Wilk. Taking to his Instagram, Wilk shared a photo of his son Chase Wilk standing alongside Jon Jones, as Wilk thanked the UFC heavyweight champion for being ‘cool’ with his son.
He wrote, “Thank you @jonnybones for being so cool to my son @chasewilk57 tonight at #ufcvegas100.” Wilk further went ahead and thanked Dana White as he revealed that it was the UFC head honcho that gifted them the tickets. “Thank you @danawhite for the great seats tonight.🙏🏻” Well, it surely seems like Chase Wilk had a great time at the event, especially after seeing the splendid end of the night.

Neil Magny suffered a brutal KO loss at the hands of prospect Carlos Prates in the main event of the UFC Vegas 100. Taking advantage of his reach, Magny came out to fight with the idea of canceling Prates’ offensive moves by taking him against the cage. However, the Brazilian defended all the takedown attempts, so it was only a matter of time before he landed a left hook that gave him the victory with 20 seconds left in the first round, stunning everyone in the crowd, including Jon Jones.

This was a fight worth watching, and it was because of Dana White‘s generosity that Wilk got to watch it for free as revealed in the story. However, this isn’t the only moment where the UFC boss proved that he has a golden heart. Apart from just giving free seats, he is a philanthropist who has donated massive sums for noble causes. One recent case was after Hurricane Helene hit the shores.
Dana White Donates $100,000 to Hurricane Helene Victims
Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the United States back in October. And one of the helping hands in the tough situation came from the UFC president. Dana White went viral on the internet after a $100,000 donation to the victims in a go-fund-me campaign that was organized by President Donald Trump. If this wasn’t enough to show how generous the UFC boss is, he actually never posted anything regarding his financial contribution.

The news of his donating funds only came to light after a fan noticed Dana White’s name among the top contributors since the donation campaign was public. The collection was organized by Meredith O’Rourke, the Trump campaign’s domestic finance director. The $100,000 donated by White is in addition to the $20,000 donated by singer Kid Rock, Bill Ackmann’s $100,000, and Senator Kelly Loeffler’s $500,000.
This is not the first time that Dana White has participated in this type of initiative. In 2023, he helped out the hurricane victims in Mahalo, Hawaii, by donating $1 million. If this isn’t proof of his golden heart, we don’t know what is. What do you think? Were you aware of the acts of kindness made by Dana White? Let us know in the comments.
