UFC light heavyweight star Johnny Walker is one of the most recognizable and well-liked fighters in all of UFC. His striking-first fighting style, flamboyant personality, and zany sense of humor have endeared him to the UFC fanbase.

For instance, recently, the 205-pounder pulled out his smooth, dance moves on the street, something that not many fighters would be willing to do. However, he is gearing up to face a very dangerous opponent Volkan Oezdemir on the main card of UFC’s first-ever Saudi Arabia card on June 22. Ahead of the bout, let’s take a look at Walker’s choice of walkout music.

What was Johnny Walker’s last walkout song?

Magomed Ankalaev stopped Johnny Walker in the second round of their UFC Fight Night main event clash this January. It was a rematch after their first UFC 294 bout and it turned out to be a no-contest after a bizarre series of events, Walker had promised to do “whatever it takes” to beat the Russian.

Walking into their rematch to the beats of Joey Bada$$’s 2022 hip-hop hit, ‘Revenge’, the Brazilian’s intentions were clear. A victory over Ankalaev, one of the most dangerous men in the light heavyweight division, would have meant a title shot soon.

However, Walker’s dynamic and creative striking proved no match for the ruthless Dagestani. Like their first encounter on the Abu Dhabi card last year, Ankalaev had the upper hand as he went on to knock out the Brazilian in the second round with a lethal upper-cut and hook combo.

Walker mixes up his choice of walk-out songs and has walked out to many different songs in the recent past.

Other popular songs Walker has walked out to

For his first fight against Anakalaev at UFC 294, Johnny Walker walked out to a combination of the Irish folk-song, ‘The Rocky Road to Dublin’ by High Kings and ‘Insomniac’ by Faithless. In contrast, in his UFC 283 bout against Paul Craig, which Walker won spectacularly via a first-round knockout, Walker walked out to the tunes of the Latin-pop smash hit song, ‘Mas Que Nada’ by Sergio Mendes feat. Black Eyed Peas.

Walker seems to be fond of preppy, upbeat music. For his Fight Night clash against Jamahal Hill in 2022, he chose the classic EDM song ‘The Business’ by Tiesto, one of the pioneers of the genre. Walker, however, went on to lose the bout in the first round itself as ‘Sweet Dreams’ lived up to his moniker and caught Walker with a deadly overhand right.

Given his eclectic mix of walkout music, it cannot be said which song the Brazilian will walk out to in Saudi Arabia. What is certain though is that Walker is in for quite a fight against Volkan Oezdemir.
