Johnny Walker vs. Jamahal Hill ended with a brutal knockout loss for Walker. Although, it was highly anticipated that fight fans see Rafael Dos Anjos go up against Fiziev. That fight has been moved up to the UFC 272 co-main event due to Dos Anjos’s visa problems.

With that being said, the replacement fight for the former pair was Johnny Walker vs. Jamahal Hill. This light-heavyweight bout kicked off an exciting journey for Jamahal Hill post his first-round knockout on Johnny Walker.

As for Johnny Walker, though, what goes for all those who face defeat still stands. ‘You win some; you lose some.’ That said, Walker doesn’t look too bad for wear. In an Instagram video posted by Fightclub, Walker is seen reacting to his injuries following his loss to Jamahal Hill.

In the video, you can hear Walker saying, “what’s up, guys? I’m okay. Just a little cut here. I sleep on the fight, so something happen wrong.” Walker addressed his knockout during the fight while pointing to the end of his orbital bone below his eyebrow at the cut.

Unlucky for Walker as it is, the knockout he suffered from the hands of Jamahal Hill is in no way the last of him. Suffering a loss in a sport like the UFC doesn’t always mean walking away empty-handed.

However, he hasn’t been able to stay consistent in recent years and has seemingly entered a slump in his career. It all boils down to how Walker can rally a comeback after arguably suffering the worst knockout of his career.

With the fight now in the books, fight fans will be anticipating who Walker could fight next. Our best pick for Walker next could be Dominic Reyes, who will be coming back from three consecutive losses in the UFC.
