The entire world of mixed martial arts was amazed by the short films going off between the fights at UFC 306. Even though the initial reactions about the Sphere weren’t as impressive, the fans’ point of view regarding the venue changed with the beginning of the main card. Needless to say, Joe Rogan was pretty impressed with the visual treats, as well. After all, he couldn’t stop himself from praising the new venue during his commentary.
Right before the fight between Esteban Ribovics and Daniel Zellhuber, the Hollywood producers and directors put forth a show that mesmerized the UFC color commentator. With visuals of marigold metals flowing all around the dome-shaped building, Rogan couldn’t help but stare at it all with great excitement in his eyes. This moment was captured by the fight fans and the pictures began circling the social media platforms. One fan page on X wrote, “this man is probably high as hell inside that sphere and is having the best experience ever #UFC306”

Joe Rogan got caught getting mesmerized by the visuals at UFC 306
While the post claimed that the JRE host was pretty high during Riyadh Season Noche UFC, the fight fans stood in support of the 57-year-old. They reflected back to the multiple instances where Rogan claimed that he never got himself intoxicated while working at the events. One of the fans wrote, “i would love to imagine this too and i hate to ruin the joke but joe said he doesn’t smoke before events anymore because he gets too distracted, but old joe rogan would def be on mars rn.” Another fan added, “He doesn’t get high for UFC events. He’s made comments about it on his podcast.”
Meanwhile, another fan claimed that visuals like the ones at the Sphere had an effect like that of psychedelics, while reaffirming the above points. The comment read, “Joe has stated many many times he doesn’t like to get high before commenting out of respect for the athletes he wants a clear mind when speaking. Sometimes just being in an environment with so many higher vibration levels will give you a psychedelic experience.”

Some of the fans pointed at caffeine and nicotine as the culprits. After all, Noche UFC was a pretty big event and Rogan simply couldn’t risk getting ‘stoned’. A comment read, “I can bet Rogan is on Caffeine and nicotine, he ain’t getting stoned to call an event this big.” But the fight fans didn’t stop and pulled in Rogan’s co-commentator, Daniel Cormier, into the scuttlebutt. One fan wrote, “lol DC was lit too early in the prelims.”
Nevertheless, the world of mixed martial arts seemed pretty delighted to have witnessed Rogan having the time of his life at Noche UFC. Did the Sphere have a similar effect on you? Let us know what you think of the venue in the comments down below.
