Joe Rogan has done it again! He has seemingly inspired Khabib Nurmagomedov to fly to the American Kickboxing Academy and train with the Dagestani team, before the events of UFC 302, where Islam Makhachev will face Dustin Poirier and defend his title. 

In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the 56-year-old podcaster and his guest for the episode, Royce Gracie, talked about the discipline of the Dagestani fighters. During the conversation, the BJJ legend revealed that the Dagestani athletes were strong just because of their discipline. He disclosed that the fighters don’t even think about anything except training. Furthermore, he added that the boys had no girlfriends or wives. Hence, all they focused on was getting better. He claimed that ”They’re more disciplined than this side of the world.”

Even Rogan said similar stuff in a previous episode of the JRE. He gave the example of ‘The Eagle’ and said that the fighters wore their hair in the exact same way and all they cared about was their family, religion, and training. That was what made them the most dominant fighters in the world. Now, it seems like Rogan’s words struck with Nurmagomedov. 

He recently went to the AKA and trained together with his team. Javier Mendez shared the moment on Instagram, wherein, Nurmagomedov was making the team do push-ups beside him. The AKA coach and founder wrote in the caption, “Team practice with Coach @khabib_nurmagomedov team loyalty and bonding is at its highest level with these guys 🦅🦅🦅 Fathers Plan #legacyteam”, hinting at Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s plan for Makhachev.

MMA fans react to Khabib Nurmagomedov training with the Dagestani team

The fans took over the comments section of the IG post and expressed themselves. One of the fans seemed surprised to see Nurmagomedov still in training. The fan wrote, “He still training.” Meanwhile, another fan questioned if the former UFC lightweight champion would be there in Makhachev’s corner, writing, “Will he be at the Islam corner in the fight?”

Nevertheless, Nurmagomedov was praised by the entire community. “What a coach,” wrote one fan. But the fans did not fail to notice that it was Javier Mendez who was handling the camera. One fan commented, “Coach when Khabib is around, you become a camera guy.” Another fan claimed that Umar Nurmagomedov would say that his cousin would k**l them all with his training. The comment read, “Coach khabib try to k**l them..😂umar said.” Another fan wrote, “just look at Islam 😂😂😂 he say , why this khabib come here.“

Furthermore, the fans pointed out that the team’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, was also made to do push-ups. “Even Ali Abdel Aziz isn’t saved from the eagle’s training,” commented a fan. While another comment read, “Even managers be geting it nobody is safe.” Undeniably, the fight fans believed that it was indeed the “GREATEST MMA TEAM IN THE PLANET”.
