US Vice President Kamala Harris shook the podcasting world when she recently sat down with Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy for an extended interview. This move truly proved the pivotal role that the new-age media is playing in this presidential race. And now, the rumor mill is buzzing with reports that the Democratic presidential candidate could appear as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience.
For the past two days, there have been major reports that the Harris’ campaign team has contacted the UFC commentator in order to gift fans a major collaboration that would allow Harris to target the young male demographic that is in favor of Donald Trump according to polls. However, another major podcaster has now leveled major accusations that Harris might be trying to rig the possible interview with Joe Rogan.
$500 million worth American entrepreneur and Valuetainment host Patrick Bet-David recently sat down with his team to discuss the possibility of having the two presidential candidates as a part of the Joe Rogan podcast. While they believed that the podcast could play a crucial role in swaying viewers, Patrick Bet-David claimed that Harris’ team has tried to send a list of questions to Joe Rogan, only allowing him to ask questions that Kamala Harris is prepared for. However, the podcaster firmly refused to do so.

He said, “The story says, the Reuters story says, and the rumor mill—I’m not telling you if it’s true or not. The rumor mill is they asked him to send questions, and Joe’s team said, “This is a podcast; this is not an interview.” He further added, “So that’s the thing; when you’re doing these types of things, and anytime people ask me for questions, I’m like, “What do we—like, it’s a conversation. I can’t believe you’re just—I said, I said we’re having a conversation. Well, so he’s not going to agree to send a list of questions, not at this phase.”

It is worth noting that Kamala Harris’ appearance on ‘Call Her Daddy’ was praised because of her being candid in an impromptu interview. So it truly is a major accusation to make against the candidate who was praised for her honest appearance. However, there is no proof to substantiate the claims made by Patrick Bet-David. But one thing is for sure: the podcast appearance truly can help Harris in the elections. As per Patrick Bet-David, it could also spell doom for Joe Rogan‘s podcast. But why?
Kamala Harris interview could pose a major threat to Joe Rogan’s podcast
The aforementioned Call Her Daddy show has a listener base of 70% women, with 76% of them being under the age of 35. So when Harris appeared on the show, she was catering to the demographic that was already in her favor, according to majority reports. However, it is the complete opposite when it comes to the Joe Rogan Experience. The UFC commentator’s podcast reportedly has a predominantly male audience, with a majority being young men. And that’s the target audience that Harris wants to win over.

However, reports claim that the audience is already in favor of Republican candidate Donald Trump. Trump and his camp have been constantly targeting friendly bro-casts such as This Past Weekend with Theo Von. The Republican camp has also made appearances alongside Logan Paul and Full Send. So according to Patrick Bet-David, the audience might not be interested in getting to see Kamala Harris on the show.
This might lead to a major drop in viewership for the JRE host, who often earns huge numbers for each video. Bet-David said, “It’s going to be over 10, and the only reason he won’t hit the 50 million mark is because he’s been doing a lot of them lately. That’s my point, so the market is on overdrive. So that’s the only thing, but again, will there be a clip that could go? Yes. Could there be a clip that goes viral? Yes.” Well, it would be interesting to see if Harris is actually able to get the attention of her target demographic. What do you think? Will the Democrat candidate cause a downfall in Rogan’s viewership? Let us know in the comments.
