During a conversation on the MMA Hour, Demetrious Johnson confirmed that he will be engaging in a street fight with Bradley Martyn. “It’s going to happen.” He explained his goal to show that size alone does not determine victory. “Just because you are big doesn’t mean you could beat somebody who is smaller.”

Responding to questions about the significant weight disparity between Demetrious Johnson and Bradley Martyn, he asserted, “If I hadn’t been training, then, of course, he would have defeated me, but I have been dedicating the last 18-20 years of my life to dealing with people bigger than me.”

He placed further emphasis on the fact that he has not directly communicated with Bradley Martyn. Brendan Schaub is actively facilitating all negotiations as an intermediary. “I have not talked to him, Schaub is the middleman; he is overseeing this.”
