Alexander Volkanovski has earned yet another strip on his UFC title reign by besting Korean Zombie aka Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273’s main event. This has been seen as his 3rd title defense as the Australian fighter continues his impressive dominant reign. The Australian champion has frequently called out Irish superstar Conor McGregor, but the fight failed to manifest.

In a recent interview, Joe Rogan’s friend and fellow comedian, Andrew Schulz’s podcast, Brilliant idiots featured featherweight champion, Volkanovski, and talked about all things MMA.

Volkanovski’s attempts to book a super fight with the former featherweight champion have failed thus far. However, the comedian believes that there is a way he can cross that bridge. He is adamant the fight will happen soon.

Conor McGregor has left the featherweight division and moved up weight classes. The Notorious one, has not competed in the 145lbs division ever since, but the superstar has been frequently making a jump from the 155 lbs to 170lbs. It will be interesting to see if Volkanovski can make the fight a reality.
Additionally, McGregor’s recent photos and buffed body transformation have surprised the world. One thing is sure, the Irish mixed martial artist won’t be making his return to 145lbs again.
